World Ocean Day Events - Get Involved!
Celebrate World Oceans Day, 8 June, by getting involved in the events below in Sydney, Brisbane and Cairns.
8 June, Sydney and Brisbane - Stalls
Celebrate World Oceans Day by joining us in Martin Place in the heart of Sydney as we create a fish-inspired masterpiece. The Protect our Coral Sea crew will be near the entrance to the MLC Centre from 7am till 2pm creating a huge banner depicting the Coral Sea – add your own fish and message to the artwork.
If you are in Brisbane come along to the Queen St Mall and help the Protect our Coral Sea crew make a colourful Barry Wrasse banner come to life. We will be outside the Myer Centre between 8am – 1pm. The more creative hands we have the better.
8 June, Brisbane - Listen Live!
Tune in online to Brisbane’s 4ZZZ radio station ecoradio program to hear their oceans special. The Australian Marine Conservation Society’s Daisy Barham will be out and about with their reporter on the streets of Brisbane. Listen live on www.4zzzfm.org.au from 12-1pm on World Oceans Day.

One Drop Festival
The Protect our Coral Sea crew will be at the One Drop Festival spreading the word about the need to protect this iconic marine treasure. Visit us at Eden Gardens from 10am-3pm, corner Lane Cove and Fontenroy Rds, North Ryde.
11-17 July, Sydney - The Coral Sea: Our Ocean Paradise
The Coral Sea: Our Ocean Paradise photo exhibition will once again be on display in Sydney. You can enjoy these stunning Coral Sea images at Strathfield Plaza, ground level, Redmyre Road, Strathfield, 9am-5pm.
